Once Upon a Frying Pan 72 pages, issues 1-3 B/W interiors

Once Upon a Frying Pan (2020), is the 72 page black and white interior graphic novel created by Brett Wood (The Silver Bullet, Devil Dealers). The Pan Man is sent to fast food Hell, forced to spend an eternity frying up burgers for rude customers… who are also food. It’s pretty trippy.

BUT! The Pan Man with a paper bag on his head gains a magic frying pan, frees himself, and goes on an odyssey not unlike Dante’s Inferno. You know, if Dante’s Inferno had more hamburgers, fries, evil bears that care, and guitar stealing angels.

Once Upon a Frying Pan’s story (first 40 pages) and all interior art and covers drawn by Brett Wood. Script assists (issues 1-2) are by Ross May (Devil Dealers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and Steve Willhite (writer of issue 3, cover and the colorist of the trade covers) Wil Brendel (cover colorist issue 1), William Grapes (letterer issue 1).
